front mounted innercooler?

how are u guys puttin innercoolers on? i no u have to cut and make brackes my question is what are u usein for cuttin the plastic bumper?

take the bumper cover off, take the impact pad off, cut the steel bumper to fit the intercooler. Drill 2 holes and bolt on the intercooler. Im not sure how the 4th gen facia is but i had to cut 2 tabs off my 3rd gen facia.

I used a sharp utility razor and cut my way through the molding lines.

i love your intercooler with the sts on it. but everytime i see a side profile of your car it makes me want to donate a set of wheels to you.

well it must your car looks great did u make that bar over the innercooler? thats nice

Yup a sharp utility razor left a clean cut, I had to pull pretty hard though.

Yeah I made the bar to regain some of the structure I lost by cutting most of the bumper support out. It should also serve as some protection for the intercooler in a low speed collision or bump. It hides nicely right up behind the nose of the bumper.

Mines a 4" intercooler...didnt want to cut the bumper.. IAT's are nice and cool.

Mine was the same... good IATs soooo.. no needto hack everything up. Tho i think iat's could be even better if you did
