Double pumper fuel pumps...Pressure question?

I will be running Lonnie's double pumpers on my D1SC 383 and was just thinking and thought I would ask a stupid question!! If this sounds dumb, I will apologize up front.

I will be running the dual walbro setup on a boost refrence "Hobbs" switch. When we start tuning will there be an issue when the 2nd pump "kicks on" with fuel pressure spiking? I would ask Lonnie, but I have questioned him to death. Although he has gone above and beyond in ansering all my questions no matter how big or little. He is a great guy.

Anyway, just thinking when I shouldn't!!

Yes there will be a small pressure spike(5psi) when the second pump kicks on. I never really noticed it affecting the AFR that much.

No the O2's won't see it at 4psi when the second pump kicks on. It will be in PE mode at that point. It is such a small spike that it really is not a big deal. It will just go slightly rich for a split second.
