FYI, i tried calling Ion with madz28, he wouldnt do a tune for a turbo car. Told me its too "risky" for him to do.

So, at this point, im looking for a mail order for the new setup

Didn't you go with a 5.3? Get HP tuners and tune it, its EASY with hp tuners and a wideband!

FWIW, I tuned my own car.

I had mine tuned at Speed Inc. originally, but when I went speed density I tuned the fueling myself. I re-used the spark tables from the Speed Inc tune. used Jet DST for the fueling tuning, MSscan for data logging, along with an LC1 wideband O2 sensor.

Brian Herter personally did a street tune for me with the stock o2 sensors. A few months later, I met him on the dyno and the widebands indicated his street tune was right on (AF was at 11.6:1). The trans was the limiting factor for us to really see what the car was capable of.

I will be using Ed Wright to tune my 93 Turbo setup hopefully late this summer mainly because of his experience with the FAST XFI and it's a chance at a trip home for me to boot.
