carb turbo setup newbie questions

hey all im looking to put my 84 camaro with 350 into the forced induction era,

i plan to put on gas research..

for the time being i only want to go with a mild boost setup and later on when i get a new work car go way over board with it

will 2 t25 or something along those lines be enuff to give a noticeable push in power?

or should i go for a single t04 or something alongs those lines...

the engine as far as i know is pritty much stock

just want to know for a daily driver for the time being will theses turbos do or should i got bigger..? i will be changing heads and cam etc so has anyone got any ideas on what would be good to use on gas ?

and if i should go for a single or twin setup ?

thanks in adavnce

Re: carb turbo setup newbie questions

Dont feel bad, I had a hard time getting carb advice for a vortech setup on here. Alot of the turbo V-8's I have seen ran T-60 or larger. I saw a 302 mustang that had a T-60, he said it was good for 550hp, but that was efi. Are you thinking enclosed box or blow through carb? It would be good to mention a HP goal, someone with more turbo knowledge could point you in the right direction. I assume that you have some headers that are gonna allow you to mount a turbo.

Re: carb turbo setup newbie questions

ah cool thx

hmm wel for the moment ill be happy with double or tripple a stock 350 carb,

im thinking of setting it up as blow thru and using 2 smaller turbos like t25 or t28 to get more boost down low not after a something that takes 5 mins to get to full boost, ( dont want to get in trouble with the law anymore... so i wanna try get away from them quick :P joking )

jsut want something that will spool quick, that will be diffrent ie not n/a and not supercharged. and give a fairly noticable kick in the but when i take off..

the manifolds i plan to get my mate to custom make me some, considering all the steering insturments are moved on the other side overhere makes it a bit more tighter for room, so thinking ofrunning like others have donw were the turbos are mounted either side of the front of the engine.

also whats it like for intercooler room on the front, are drastic modifocations required, or is there plenty of room ?
