I can give you the specs for the one in my sig if you want. You might need a vac can for the brakes though.

Im running the cc305 cam with a 114 lsa. Its a fairly popular shelf cam that works pretty damn well with boost and nitrous. You can find them used all the time at good prices too. Lift with 1.6 rockers is in the mid .5xx. Its nice and mellow sounding @ idle while cold start is a tad loud at first with Hooker LT's and catback. In boost it gets quite loud with my exhaust but the power is great for a shelf cam. Im running 10 psi @ 6k rpm and looking to spin the s-trim faster. I have a 125 shot on the car, but haven't needed it on the street, yet.

Idles like a stocker, HUGE midrange, ~600rwhp at 5,800rpm.

Re: best baby cam for boost?

Sorry to revive an old post. Rich how would that cam work in an Ai headed 355. I'm looking for something that will make 600whp and be driveable and possibly get decent mileage out of boost. will be using a vortech s trim with between 10-12psi intercooled. through a t56. Btw Does power drop drastically at 5800?
Thanks for any info you can provide.
Kory
