We agree you are an antagonist, but when and where did we ask you or anyone else "what to do", other than where to find rare parts?

Ok, he's mounted it where we would mount it. I said "as far as we know" no one had bult such a car, now we know of one. Where is the car and where does he race it, certainly not at your shootouts?

Since you were helpful, do you know of a XX trim 3/4 gen?

Oh, you like my signature?

The part that's different is that I want to create a power curve with a different shape than what is commonly sought.

I'm being a bit cagey about it because:

a) If it works the way I think it will, I want to be the first guy to have done it, and;
b) I don't need a bunch of keyboard commandos tearing up my ideas.

Guido -

The original purpose of this thread was to determine what horsepower neighborhood I can anticipate being in, so that I can plan for what needs to be done in terms of a short block.
Furthermore, if this board is not to be used for discussion, then it's existance is pointless.
Finally, as the person who STARTED the thread, I'M the one who gets to decide if I have received any helpful information. (which I have)

lame, it wasnt anything personal against you.

Personally, I think an LT1 block will hold up just fine. flyin hawaiian drives a built LT1 car thats holding up fine. George Baxter did it with something like 1200hp. There are a few people in the 4 digit HP range that have proven it will hold.

Im willing to bet yours will hold up fine with the proper preparation. Good luck.

Bob, cant wait to see the car! See ya tomorrow, beer in hand.

Now that's something we are completely sympathetic about. These sites are only good for socializing and exchanging comments on general topics. The details are better handled elsewhere.

We've got a fast car that makes a lot of power and we will help you and others if we can.

Wink

flyin and Guido
It's time for you two teenagers to run along home to mommy, or better yet, find a shootout where you can get drunk and tell car stories.

Oh, I changed my signature to prevent punks like the two of you from harassing me.
