Mine hasn't broken, I was just curious if anyone has heard of it happening. The pres of Scat says it is common

How much boost? Stock crank or aftermarket? Buddy of mine had a 383 LT1, Callie's Stealth with standard SBC snout, was running 20# + of Vortech boost, making 1,125 HP at the flywheel. Only problem he ever had was the ATI damper hub cracking. Solution was double key the crank and put a reinforcing ring around the outside of the hub.
If you are concerned, you can get aftermarket cranks with a BBC snout.
