How many miles can you drive when using the windshield washer tank?

it depends. it has a boost switch that activates the pump. it will only spray when it reaches the boost level it's set at. so if you drive the car around without getting into the boost, you wont use any.

i dont know how long it will go with a heavy foot.

it took me a long time to go through one WW tank....but i dont stomp on it every chance i get either....

 

And it's easier on the engine than using an IC to cool the boost down?

well it's more effective at reducing intake temps and it doesnt create a restriction like an intercooler does, so you should see 1-2 more psi with all things being equal.
