93 tuning issue

I have a 93 z28, and am wondering what my options are for tuning, being i am unable to use lt1 edit, i have to have my chip re-burned everytime i want to change anything. Is it feasable to buy the chip harness and software to tune it myself, or do i have to take a road trip somewhere? My engine builder has expressed intrest in helping me tune it, so have some other knowledgable people that i know, and i dont really want to go to texas.

Take a look at this web site. All you need is a cable, burner, chips and a ZIF and some soft ware. You can get all this from http://www.moates.net/...

Re: 93 tuning issue

Could you explain why a 2 bar map is necessary only if you're running more than 12 psi of boost? As I understand, a stock (single bar) map sensor is good only to atmospheric pressure (~14 psi, no boost), so a 2 bar map would be good to ~28 psi (14 psi of boost)...

Re: 93 tuning issue

T. Walker you are correct. Stock 1 bar MAP will not see boost.
