No wonder my friends call me Fickle. It's hard to decide what you want to build when there are SO many options....That car is just plain sick...and I'm sure it's reasonable as far as money spent to go that fast....

And the sweetest part is, the guys would be puzzled when you pull up to the pump and fill her up. I think my mind has changed for the 100th time now. Geez, I need to stop reading... First it was a 355, then a 383, then a 434, then a BB, now this?????

Hmm, interesting how a carb makes more power with a blower than efi because of the cooling effect. But I think the efi setup is more street friendly.

i dont know man, thats kinda crappy for an F2. I think they might have some numbers wrong.....

i mean that guy that sold his yellowz28, i think his name was camarojcb or something like that, had a 454 with a D1 and if i remember right made over 1000hp on pump

That F2 is capable of way more than that....i believe they made that power but i bet that psi rating is wrong. 24psi outta a F2 would made A LOT more power

I have no idea WTF they were trying to say about crank angles and hp. Yes, ideally peak cylinder pressure should occur about 20-30 degrees ATDC, but what's that have to with a blower vs. na vs. nitrous? The main determinate of where peak cylinder pressure occurs is ignition timing, AFAIK.

That article pretty much sucks especially the whole thing about the crankshaft angle. The reason the piston is pushed down in the first place is because there is greater pressure on the top of it than there is at the bottom. So if you see high cylinder pressure at the top of the stroke its not going to make you lose power. That pressure is still gonna be there except you have taken advantage of the pressure 30 (or whatever they were saying) degrees more because it started earlier in the stroke.
