What exhaust system to make my lt1 z28 loud?
Do not put a glasspack on a car ever. (Sorry ream) It sounds like *** cake farm truck. A dynomax is only $10-20 more each than glasspacks.
I used to be against expensive exhaust setups. Still don't like bolt on because you can buy just the mufflers and build it much cheaper. I am a big fan now of Borla XR1 race mufflers, but at $120ish each they are a bit more money.

Here's a vid of mine with stock motor. I bought the manual cutouts first and installed. Got tired of pulling the caps off and bought the 3" DMH e-cutouts. Definatly worth the money.

On my old IROC, I had LT's into 3" custom Ypipe, 3" spun cat then into 3"/26" long Powerstick chambered muffler with the SLP LM1 axle back. It was mean sounding on my 383ci 10.2:1 motor. With my fairly stock '95 LT1, it already has the Borla catback with no plate. I plan on adding a set of Pacesetter LT's, same cat and keeping the Borla. Should sound real nice.
