What exhaust system to make my lt1 z28 loud?

Hey guys, i have a 93 camaro z28 and its all stock. I would like to make my car loud where people look over to find out whats so loud basically something that draws attention. What exhaust system is a attention grabber? Would love to keep my stock z28 exhaust tips.

Thanks

GMMG GMMG GMMG baby!!! It's loud, but it doesn't sound like crap. Brand new, it costs $770.00, but it is well worth the money you pay. It is the best thing I ever bought for my Z.

Open Long tubes.... (Loudest, but no where's near legal)

Or Long tubes into true duals... (2nd loudest, and can be legal)

Stock motor with open exhaust will not sound good.

Most people get rid of the cats - if you can.

There are a lot of catback options. Something like the loudmouth, cmmg, or borla are all good but rather expensive options.

A cutout somewhere in the I pipe would be the cheapest option if you just want a lot of noise.

Long tubes are really were to start though.

True duals with two magnaflow 2.5" round mufflers attached to each. Loud and sounds mean on stock or modified engine. Mine turn down prior to the axle however there are options out there to make it route out to the rear of the car. Also the Magnaflow cat back is a realy nice option if you want to stay away from an exhaust shops custom work that would have to be done in the formentioned system.

If all you want is loud and you want to retain the stock exhaust tips why not just get an exhaust cutout? Just my 2 cents.

i used to have a texas speed (tsp) rumbler exhaust. omg it was loud. pretty cheap too. it is a copy of the loudmouth by slp. it is basicly a stright pipe with a bullet style flow through muffler sounded like open headders all the time i had to get rid of it. i did not want that nuch attention.

removing the cat will make it louder, but depending on the area you live in it could make it impossible to get a state inspection. no worries about the engine light though, there are no rear o2 sensors on a 93.

I would agree something that I would personally reccomend are DMH Perfomance electric cutouts...I have one and its truly amazing. YOu can use it with your stock exhaust and when you want to here it you just flip the switch. Then if your in a place where people are gonna give you problems with a loud exhaust you flip it off. Heres the link to the site below

cut off the cat, replace it with a glasspack. remove the muffler at the end, and get tips fabbed up for it. cheap, easy, sounds decent, and is loud as all hell
