turn down
I have one that was custom made by a friend who owns a manufacturing business that makes headers for trucks. It is stainless steel and the turn down has a lip so that I can adjust the direction by loosening the flange connector. I will take pics when I get the car back....it is in Louisiana getting the finishing touches on the new stroker motor.
As far as inside noise, it did make a difference as I have the cut-out under the passenger seat. But the overall sound from the cut-out is still awesome, especially through the Pacesetter LTs and the new motor.
I should have pics for you in about 2 weeks.
Thanks!

No pics of mine but basically I had a 3" 90 laying around. I cut it off to make a turndown and just welded it to a header flange. Bolted it to my cutout just to keep the soot off the car. Worked good. never noticed any noise changes but the car was strictly a race car.
