true dual setup
you MIGHT be able to fit dual 2.5" pipes over the axle without using the kit.
hard to say without trying.
but it kindda comes with the territory...duals out the back is difficult and $$$$...otherwise everyone would have it...hell...GM would have done it.
you're gonna be spending a couple hundred on pipes anyway...not to mention the mufflers, hangers and tips...i guess what's another $230??
unless you can get in on a group purchase or sale...you won't beat that price

Also, the exhuast sounds good, but its hard to tell the diff b/w exhaust sounds on video clips, did u have the window down?

on stock manifolds you will spend a total of 210 for 2.5 true duals x pipe and 2 dynomax bullets dumped, this is what i spent total, including installation and fab work.
if you really want it out the back look into getting the stock piping that goes over the rear axle, then you will have 2 that were specifically made to go over it.

Here's a few pics of mine, made with a Jegs 2.5" universal kit and a 3" X-pipe kit...reduces down to 2.5" just after the X-pipe and Dynatech Split flow straight thru muffs.
Here's the BMR relocation kit showing the extra clearence

My setup are the lanes TD's which look exactly like the black ones in the top picture. If those are morosso stingers, than thats what my setup is...ive heard tons of fbodies, vettes, stangs, and none of them sound even close to what an lt1 with true duals sounds like. I have had 4 different exhaust setups now (single out the left came with car, loudmouth, magnaflow, then duals) and the duals sound by far the deepest and most pissed...cam + true duals

Im almost considering just going dumps after seeing all the extra time and money it will take for the rear exit...that lanes true dual with the stingers looks nice also.
where would i get the stock piping that goes over the axle at? and also where do i get all the piping anyways, jegs or something?

as for the piping go to the muller shop and hand then 2 dynomax bullet mufflers and a summit universal x pipe (NOT THE KIT) all 2 1/2 inch. print the pictures i just posted of the lanes and say i want that. i paid 210 total INSTALLED. i spent 120 at the muffler shop, thats to fab up and install. they have the piping.
as for the comment on the lanes with stingers, this is exactly what it will look like with the dynomax bullets. and you can kinda see the indentions where they hit the underbody to get it closer. this i where the dents will be in the back seats that will be covered by the cusions.
sorry still no pics its still cold as nuts, its supposed to clear up soon and i will get the pictures.
I was looking into Bassani true duals, keep my hooker headers and no cats. Two Questions though- Whats the ground clearance like and does SLP make a muffler that can be used with the dual set up?(haven't found one) I had bassani exhaust on my 99z and it was just too raspy, not deep.
Oh and Guys- keep the answers simple-you're talking to a chick here.
THANKX!!

if anyone spends 800 bucks on an exhaust system they are just stupid, the set up that i have is 640 total= coated longtube headers true duels x pipe and dynomax bullets. i assure you nothing else is going to yeild a better gain or sound.
