true dual setup
you can run 3 inch piping and 3 inch bullet mufflers but you will lose a little torque. also you will cut your ground clearance. 3 inch is overkill, and more expensive. look in the fact section for hp and piping recomendations, you will see that 2 * 2 1/2 is more than enough.
oh and the bullets come in 2 1/2 in and out i think that is what you were asking about?

Ok, so i should get the 4" bullet mufflers with 2 1/2in. in & out, then just do 2 1/2in. piping all the way back. And i noticed that that size bullet is 16.5in in length, that the right one? Also, Since the pipe and muffler out will be the same size do they just get welded together?
Lastly, do i run a reducer from the actual LT's to the muffler?
Wow, didnt realize that 2.5in. piping could handle that much power!

"so will i need this relocation bracket and the actual panhard bar then, or can i use this with the stock panhard bar"
only thing the panhard bar does is locate the axle side to side nothing to do with exhaust...the relocation bracket is designed to give the proper room to run bigger exhaust over the axle. so you can run the stock panhard with the relocation bracket to allow for clearance.
to run a 2.5" setup...you put the reducer right off the headers
there are other mufflers identical to the ones you list as 16" long...someone makes some that are 23-24"...check out summit or jegs. cost is minimal and you'll get a little more noise control.
dual 2.5" pipes has similar flow capacity as a single 3.5" pipe
"sounds good. would love to see the setup before i do it. So, i will also need the reducer...what if i wanted to run 3in. piping after the bullets, should i not do that (will they fit), or should I run the 2.5in piping"
why would you run 2.5" pipe to the muffler, then 3" out the back?? there is nothing to be gained from that.
3" is possible out the rear...BMR claims thier bracket makes enough room. but for the added hassle...not really worth it.
as for welding or not...it's your choice. the slip fits should allow you to clamp or weld.
most likely you'll need to do some welding...since nobody really makes a true-dual kit that goes over the axle for the Fbody...so it's all gonna be custom anyway

So when you say that the longer muffler will give me more noise control, are you saying that the 16.5" Dynomax bullet will be Extremely loud!? I mean, i want it to definently be louder than it is now, but i do have to make long road trips home and will prob want to hear the radio at some point in time
. Plus the only other one i see in my price range is the Moroso spiral flow muffler which is 18" long overall. All the other bullet type mufflers are around $120+ each while dynomax and moroso are only around $40 each....Lastly, where do i get that panhard relocation kit?
how loud is too loud is totally subjective.
the bullets tend do be pretty loud, although running them out the back will DEFINATLY help!!
i looked up the longer muffler:
summit brand glasspack mufflers: pn sum-630815 $25
ran one on my LS1 for a while as a loudmouth style setup w/ single 3" pipe. sounded decent, but just a little raspy. i think running 2 of these and out the back would sound pretty good.
as for the phb kit...order directly from BMR www.bmrfabrication.com
or see if you can get in on a group purchase someplace...do a search.

thats a myspace vid link to my car with mods in sig. yours would sound very simular minus the slipping transmission.

damn! Its raining like CRAZY here but think the snow might be jus a lil worse...no prob man, even tho im collecting everything i need for the build now, im not going to install for another 3 weeks
Also, the exhuast sounds good, but its hard to tell the diff b/w exhaust sounds on video clips, did u have the window down?
