y pipes are for cat-back cars

u need either an x-pipe or h-pipe for duals

Run the summit universal x-pipe kit with some edelbrock SDT mufflers

knew that, meant H, think i would rather go X-pipe though anyways, just looks like it would flow better...never seen the SDT mufflers, will check them out, thanks

x pipe and dynomax bullets. you still have gc and it sounds great. you go with a regular type muffler and you'll scrape off your exhaust.

magnaflow 4x9 mufflers are the same diameter as bullets...they tuck up well for being full size mufflers.

but running the exhaust out the back will take $$$$

easiest way is 2.5" pipes, side by side...then routed over the axle in the stock location. you'll probably have to install the BMR panhard bar kit to allow room.

do you have dumps or do you run them all the way to the rear? I have heard ppl say that dumping them before the rear-axle actually allows you to gain some HP...Also, i know it would prob be cheaper to wait for some used but do you know where i can pick up those bullets cheapest?

Yeah, hopefully i have someone who will be helping me do the exhaust to save me some money, then ill just go get it welded at a shop. But i was planning on getting the adjustable panhard bar kit anyways so that would prob work out. Will i have to get the panhard bar for sure, too be able to have the rear-exit

sorry...was not clear on that.

you'll need the panhard bar relocation kit to allow the clearance. it is a separate piece from the actual panhard bar.

i doubt there is much hp gain/lost between dumping before the axle compared to after. i suppose there is a small amount of increased resistence from the bends that go over the axle. but as long as they are mandrel bent...it should be extremely minimal.

and new bullets are about $30-40...depending on lenght...doubt you'd gain much from finding them used. look in jegs or summit, they have some that are 24" and still cheap...gives you a bit mroe sound control over the 16-18" bullets.

what he said^^^ and you can get more ground clearance out of the bullets if you make an indention for them, it ends up in the corners of the rear seats. other mufflers you can't do this because they are not cylender style they are rectangle. i can't spell for crap.

So this is the pretty much your exact setup...did u delete the cats? second, did u buy the 02 extensions instead of wiring the ones pacesetter sends, if so what length 02's, 12in or 24in.? Lastly, got any pics of your setup, would like to see how it looked when finished, especially where the indentation for the bullets is in the corner of the rear seats..

by the way, thanks a lot to everyone for all the helpful ideas so far

i have pacesetter coated long tubes, into a reducer 3 inch to 2 1/2, into a x pipe, into dynomax bullet mufflers.

no cats, i used the wireing that pacesetter sends, but i am an electrician so i know for sure that my connections were perfect and that it was all done right. i also have a tool thats made specifically for crimping that does better than anything you could come up with.

i will probably be able to get pictures tomarrow, its raining right now and i think it will clear up thursday.

sounds good. would love to see the setup before i do it. So, i will also need the reducer...what if i wanted to run 3in. piping after the bullets, should i not do that (will they fit), or should I run the 2.5in piping. Curious because if the 3in. would work, wouldnt i have to get another reducer for the other side of the bullets...sounds like a lot more $$ tho
