Ran into a problem on an install...

Went to install my Pacesetter headers this weekend and ran into a problem. One of the bolts that holds the alternator on is slightly rounded off, so I can't turn it with a wrench. I thought a set of locking pliers might work, but I seem to have lost them in the move. There are also one or two rounded bolts on the Y-pipe. Any tips for getting them off?

If you have a pair of channel locks you can try those. I would try to pick up another set of vice-grip pliers though, they work miracles in getting off rounded bolts.

That's what I thought, but I didn't want to run out and get something I didn't need. I'm a broke soon-to-be college student.

Sears tool department has this socket looking things that work great for about $20.00 they fit over a rounded bolt or screw and you use a wrench on them. I think there called "bolt out". I've used them on several things, there amazing.
