Question: Slip fit collectors (primary side)
I have a dumb question. What do I do to mount the collector to the primaries? It is a slip fit on the 4 primary tubes so welding will be pretty much impossible... it didn't come with any instructions so does it just slip on and that is it or what?

With the collector would sealant be necessary? I just want to know if I need to secure them on the headers. They are an awful tight fit so using silicone or glue might be a big endeavor.

There are usually A/B tabs that are welded to the collector and primary. You then slip the collector over the primary and bolt the two a/b tabs together.
You should be able to see what I'm talking about in these two pictures:


Realistically you cannot get a 100% leak free seal with that style collector. In order to get a full 100% welded collector you would have to go with a formed collector with a welded diamond that connects the 4 primary's. We sell them and can be seen here:
