Question Question: Slip fit collectors (primary side)

I have a dumb question. What do I do to mount the collector to the primaries? It is a slip fit on the 4 primary tubes so welding will be pretty much impossible... it didn't come with any instructions so does it just slip on and that is it or what?

Here is a photo of what I have...

Why would welding be impossible?

I wouldn't be able to reach the inside of the collector.

Most info I can find is about slip fit primary tubes.

With the collector would sealant be necessary? I just want to know if I need to secure them on the headers. They are an awful tight fit so using silicone or glue might be a big endeavor.

There are usually A/B tabs that are welded to the collector and primary. You then slip the collector over the primary and bolt the two a/b tabs together.

You should be able to see what I'm talking about in these two pictures:

Realistically you cannot get a 100% leak free seal with that style collector. In order to get a full 100% welded collector you would have to go with a formed collector with a welded diamond that connects the 4 primary's. We sell them and can be seen here:
