SLP isn't expensive. I paid $400 for mine new, and you can find used ones for even cheaper. Unless you are making high hp numbers, the only catback that is really going to hurt you is Flowmaster. Just listen to some sound clips and see what you like, don't just buy on "what flows better". My $0.02.

very true well i wasnt going for flowmasters i heard there bad and yeah restrictive. Anyways any other suggestions?

hey thanks guys for all the help in a couple of hours imma order the exhaust system and maybe the headers or even a CAI but first comes first my drag radial tires. i guess imma go witht the true duals

well got the tires exhaust and now im gonna go for the CAI and headers

I have the Borla catback on my Z28 coupled with catted long tubes. I paid $600 for it back in 1997. I also have an e-cutout installed in place of a fixed plate. The muffler is a stright through design, the pipes are stainless and fitment is excellent. The sound rivals GMMG IMHO and should provide the least amount of restriction for MAX power. The dual tips look awesome too.

Yeah its expensive but it lasts forever. Yeah it costs ~$800 dollars but you can find them used for $500 on the boards and on Ebay. Cant go wrong with the Borla considering it has more functionality compared to the other premium priced systems.

True duals IMHO is the ultimate custom exhaust. There is no one around here that can do Mandrel bent pipes unfortunately.
