hey guys. well i posted earlier this week that i got my new 3'' exhaust on. i do have just a few more things to do before its perfect. for those of you who have done the 3'' x pipe i have a couple questions. 1) how did you go about shielding your fuel lines from that massive heat? my exhaust literally sits directly ON one of the fuel lines right behind the cross member?
2) My header sits right around the unibody and when i put the car in gear, the exhaust begins to bouce just slightly enough to tap that U.B. to make a really annoying noise/ shake my feet lol. i've decided to use a remedy i found from here 1)http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...8/102_4310.jpg 2)http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...8/102_4318.jpg 3) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...8/102_4323.jpg
has anyone else used this technique?? if so let me know if the unibody is still strong enough to be considered safe. any other ideas would help me a lot thanks guys
