exaust question

Im buying some pace setter race style long tubes they're going on a 95 Z28 do I need some O2 extensions if so where is the cheapest place to get them? Also where can I get the block off plates for the intake? Im thinking about buying the 3in. universal X-pipe from summit does it require any bending or can I just bolt it up? Because I don't think any muffler shops around here have equipment to bend 3in pipe. Will some dynomax ultra-flo 6" round mufflers fit. I was wanting to put flowmaster 2 chamber 40 series mufflers but I think I would have clearance issues.

look on ebay for the block off plates...maybe $25 bucks max...i paid $20 shipped for mine, and the o2 extensions should be there too, if not just do a search for casper electronics LT1 O2 extensions...

heard horror stories of late on the Pacesetter headers...a torch and a chain may be needed in your toolbox to get the collector into the right place....just sayin'.

explain??

If youre talking about the driver side collector I smashed my floorboard up .5" and ran a 2.5" y-pipe after the collector. It only hits the floor board once in a rare while on the ocasional Spec chatter-spell which are amplified by my worn motor mounts.

This was the only "issue" i had with my pacesetters. Im very happy with them, youre going to run into snags no matter what brand you use IMO.

The 02 extensions should cost pretty much the same anywhere. They usually run around 20 bucks a piece.

Thanks, I found the block off plates and o2 extensions on ebay. Still wondering if the universal 3in. x-pipe will work without having to bend it.
