93 Z28 True dual exaust with my hooker super comp street force shorty headers.. Any s
Bought a set of hooker street force super comp shorty headers for my 93. It seems to be a weekend job just putting them on. Is ther anywhere o could get exaust that wont cost an arm and leg for true duals from the headers back?
You can buy duals that dump under the car for about 250 but theyre for longtubes, thats the cheapest set that ive been able to find

Did the Hooker shorties come with a Y-pipe?
Or is it possible you bought the headers for the 95-97 dual cat cars, which would utilize the factory Y-pipe?

It jas the y pipe but i was hoping to do away with it and go for true duals, when i run the numbers on them it say specific 93 with lt1. I have maybe 3 exhausts from the camaros and am attmpting to fabricate and weld my own, im gonna run the new pipe with the old one and slightly stagger it to run ove the rearend. Then the short Flowmaster mufflers i will weld a hanger on each and place them where the factory exhaust hangs. Then go with something similar to to factory tips.. myself and a good friend and a mechanic of 20+ yrs have checked it and believe that we can make it work.

Did you finally resolve the issues you had with install? Injuneer asked about threaders for the '93 or 95-97 which did you choose? How did they work?

I bought the Speed engineering kit and only had to make minor adjustments. I had to trim about 1" from the passenger side, and extend the drive side by 3". This was too a set of Kooks headers. You will need a shop that can weld stainless steel.
