Tubby's, Saturday May 1st @ 6:30 pm
This Saturday, Mat 1st at 6:30 pm. Here's the info:
Tubby's is a quaint little bar & grill in Rock Hill, SC that caters to muscle cars and street rods (the walls of the place are lined with pictures of street rods). No Ricers allowed!
We either set up a long table in the middle of the restaurant, or hang around outside at the large umbrella picnic tables depending on the weather. We just get together, hang out, maybe do a little bench racing and have a good time. Tubby's has good food too, which is reasonably priced. So if you're hungry you can get a bite to eat, but don't feel obligated to do so.
It's very easy to get to. From either direction on I-77 (North or South) take exit 82-B, which is Cherry Rd. Exit 82-B only goes in one direction from either exit, so you can't go the wrong way off the exit. Once on Cherry Rd. go through 5 or 6 traffic lights (can't remember the exact number), which is about a 1/2 mile. Tubby's is a small building with yellow neon around it on the right side of the road, directly across the road from an Advance Auto Parts store, so you can't miss it. People usually start showing up around 6:30 this time of year.
Hope you can make it!
Mark
