I am just wondering if there are any OPEN minded people out there who have some interest in a local/semi-local car club?
So far we have everything from a 96 Z28, 02 SS to a 463 WHP 98 Honda Civic. I am just wondering if any of you local guys around here would eb interested in coming to some of the meets (track and dyno and just BS drive arounds)? Thanks, Nick

 

How far is Hendorsonville away from where I live (Fuquay-Varina) There not many people around here who have F-bodys. The only ones I seen which were tonight was 2 spoiled brats with Trans-am's or something. Lemme know. Id like to join a car club. My ride isnt nothing spectacular. All stock with the mods listed in the sig.

Keep in mind I hate Asheville with a passion. But I'd be interested in dyno/track meets. The strip I go to is the Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, GA. They had a portable dyno there last time I went, but I was too broke to make a run.

 

we are planning on running Atlanta a couple times this summer, not sure on dates yet though.

I say "OPEN minded" cause there are quite a few Honda guys...they are all really nice guys in general and don't rag on the real cars much but like to have fun. It's Just a bunch of CAR PEOPLE who like to drive and race...

 

Ahhhh, gotcha. I used to have a Toyota MR2, so I'm definately not biased against imports.

I hope we can get a pretty decent group of people in it, but if this forum is any indication as to the number of members in our area, I'd say we're few and far between.

 

we are in fact few and far between, there are a bunch of local guys around here, but they are either ricers (not invited to join us...for obvious reasons) or they are a bit "southern" and don't use a comp. much...hit me up on AIM sometime.
