I went to the Brainerd Optimist 1/8 mile strip on Saturday night, kind of a lame show, not many cars showed up. So where are the other dragstrips in the area? I know there is one near Ft. Payne Alabama, is it worth driving from Chattanooga? I really want to get on the 1/4 mile though, any 1/4 mile tracks around Chattanooga?

 

Quite a few of the people that hang out/run there were at Rod Run this weekend.

 

well, I'm comparing Brainerd to Music City raceway in Nashville, they put on an awesome show no matter what night you come, they are running cars until 1 in the morning, none of this people doing test and tune while they are running their eleminations because they need to fill up some time because not enough cars showed up.

 

Gotcha...Brainerd Opt. is just dependant on who shows up that nite - some nites suck, some nites are awesome.
