My Zaino opinion
Zaino is the best stuff out there....... I did my own little test with Meg's vs the Z and the Z won.
Consider this..... when was the last time you had a question for the owner of successful private company? When was the last time you called the owner and HE answered the phone? Not some ditzy blond secretary or some 20 year old college student! Try calling Meguiar's tomorrow and see if Barry answers the phone. Barry and his family of 10-something brothers are too busy kissing *** in Hollywood or fixing their makeup to go on "Car Crazy". Meguair's is JOKE. That family is living off the old days....... buy from a private guy who works everyday...... answers his OWN phone! Or you can buy from ol' Barry and help him buy more makeup for his TV show.
The answer is clear so do the right thing and buy the Z stuff!
Better yet, try this...... call Meguiare's tomorrow and ask to speak to "Barry". Tell them your a long time consumer and you have an extremely detailed question for Barry only. Do you really think Barry Meguiare will return your call? Now call Zaino and ask Sal your question!!!!!!! Not only do I like Zaino the product but even more so I like Sal Zaino the man. He always has time for me whenever I call him. He answers my questions patiently and thouroghly. It appears Sal chooses to keep his company small and private so he can keep it the way HE WANTS it and that means the product stays top-notch for the consumer. Meg's is made in a factory in the hills outside of Chattanooga, Tennesee and do you think ol' Barry goes to Chattanooga? Puleeese........
Disclaimer- I am in no way whatsoever receiving any kickbacks, allocated monies, bonuses, cash, checks, money orders, cashier checks, free stuff- of any shape or form, preferential treatment from Sal or ANY of his distributors for this post
The above is completely 100% my opinion, not a fact so take it as that!

I 110% agree with everything you say. However, there are those out there that think because you and I, and the rest of us who really like and believe in the Z products, that we must be paid off or whatever by Sal or his reps to spread the word. Hell, I've even been accused of selling the Z products, when I've never sold 1 bottle of anything to anyone, because I'm not a distributor! My point being, the products speak for themselves and those of us that have found them to be superior in most respects will continue to use it and recommend it to others. Bottom line, I completely believe your opinion because I'm of the same one, for the same reasons. Just beware of those that will try to bring you down simply because of your like for a product. Having tested Zaino against dozens of products over time, Z comes out on top every time. Draw your own conclusions, do your own comparisons and I think you'll find the same, as you already have.
Mike
I agree totally about Sal. He is a great for his company.
While I have never met Sal, or talked to him on the phone, I have sent him several emails, and ALWAYS get a QUICK, detailed response. Plus I know that if I ever did need to talk to him, I could.
I am amazed he actually has time to do all this.
How can you beat the combo of the best product available AND the best customer service available?
Thank you Sal!

You guys must be brain washed.
I found out that you and Sal developed a special "Z" logo on every bottle that automatically brainwashes you when you stare at it. "Must use Zaino, must use Zaino......"
After you're far beyond driven, you have to wear the special Z suit with a big "Z" across your chest!

Is there a chance we will ever see Zaino in stores?
It seems a bit odd to me why Sal hasn't marketed Zaino to the public all that much. The way I found out about Zaino was through internet message boards.
Almost everyone that has tried Zaino, says that it is the best polish they have ever used. With some good marketing, Zaino could compete succesfully with Meguairs, or any of the other polish companies out there.
Zaino is like a money-making time-bomb. All it would take to light the fuse is marketing. Sal could making a TON of money.
If I were him, I'd do it.

Believe it or not almost half of the 46 products tested by The Wax Test www.gurureports.org are not sold in stores, they must be mail ordered or purchased through distributors.

Kevin V is right about expaining how to use something. When I worked at Autozone, I was the only one, in that store, who knew what a claybar was for. I gave up trying to explain to my fellow employees, much less the customers, the benefits of using the clay. I can just imagine trying to train several employees in the proper use of Zaino, and then have them try to explain it to the customer.
Carl is right on. Nearly all "enthusiast level" products are sold either internet and/or mail order only. In the case of Zaino, this keeps a closer tabs on how the products are used and who is selling them. Customer service from Sal and his reps is second to none in this industry, and I believe this might be compromised if the products were sold locally. I'd love to see it sold in stores too, like many other products, and I'm sure it would make the Zaino company plenty more cash. But, the marketing base isn't there (Meguiar's and other companies spend millions $$ on marketing, fighting for your business), the knowledgeable salespeople wouldn't be there, the quality would probably go down with mass production, customer service would probably go away as to what we're used to with Sal and his dealers, and quite frankly Zaino is on another level than your "average Joe" stuff you find in AutoZone, WalMart, or whatever. Around here it's hard to find any decent wax over $10, because most people can't justify spending more than a couple bucks cleaning their cars. This just isn't the Zaino culture. Again, I'd like to see it sold in stores to benefit myself b/c I know what the products are and how they work, but in the long run I don't think it would benefit everyone else and those that have never used the products.

Mike nice post
There is one other thing about Zaino that would make it hard for stores to sell, Zaino because it has no cleaners or abrasives is not for every car out there, there are people that "wax" their cars every few years, if you put Zaino on an oxidized car it will not look much better. Zaino is meant for people that either have a new car and want the longest protection offered, and or a show car where they want to clearest product to let the true color of their car to shine through, these are the same people that take pride in their cars and keep them looking good all the time. Many products will shine your car, only a handful offer any real protection
