What to plug TH350 kickdown hole with?

Will a regular freeze plug work to plug the hole and is that all that needs to be done to it? Thanks.

Find an old/broken kickdown cable and saw the it even with the mounting boss where it bolts to the transmission, and fill the hole with Permatex Ultra Copper silicone.
