What kind of trans fluid does everyone use?

I use OEM in my M6. Both times I have tried synthetic ATF (Mobil 1 and RedLine) the trans did not shift smoothly.

I just changed my fluid and the filter, I used Royal Purple Max ATF. Using a fluid that is synthetic (obviously Dexron 3) reduces the A4 temperature. Works Great!
