what axle do i need ???
First off a have a 99 z28 camaro A4 my right rear axle is bent and i am wanting to replace it . The question is what axle do i need , there is one that says 7.5 inch and another says 7.625 inch . I think that difference is in which channel abs I have ? I dont have a wire going to my diff. and my car has asr so does that make it a 4 channel . Im not really to shure on any of this so any input can help .
thanx

If your car has ASR, it has a 4-channel system, with a reluctor gear on each rear axle.
Your 10-bolt differential assembly uses a differential carrier that accepts a 7.5" or 7.625" ring gear. That is not the axle size, that it the ring gear size. You need an axle that matches the number of splines (on the end that insters into the carrier) on your stock axle, and is the same length as your stock axle. I'm not sure if the reluctor gear can be removed from your old axle and placed on the new axle, so you need to find that out.
This is going to be a dealer or junk-yard part. Has to be out of a 98-02 F-Body, and your life would be a lot easier if it already had the reluctor gear on it.
