Well its finally in..

From a dead stop it pulls hard and burns down my street tires, from a roll it doesnt feel like its pulling at all

One thing that is giving me a headache is my exhaust! the 3200 cruises at around 2500rpm and my borla is just driving me nuts. Its so loud when i get out of my car I have a headache everytime... I might switch to stock..

I wish i would have went smaller (2800) I'll try hitting up the track this weekend, but the weather has been ****ty

Is it a lock-up? I think it's the 3.73's that are making it run at 2500rpm I'm thinking 3500 stall Good luck--just takes some getting use to from what i hear. What do you mean it doesn't pull from a roll?? it should Anyone else have that prob? of course it won't be as hard but..........

I love my 3200 Vigilante converter, it does boil my street tires from a stop but from a 35 or 40 mph roll it definately throws you back in the seat...

something is wrong if its not throwing you back from a roll, and as far as the rpm thing, if it is a lock up stall then that is the gears causing it to be at that rpm, makes no difference whether you have a stall or not once it locks up. btw give it at least several weeks of driving before you go back to stock, you will probably end up falling in love with it

Track times are here.... Weather wasnt all that bad either

Best Time:
60' ... 1.818
330 ... 5.387
1/8 ... 8.414
MPH ... 80.90
1000 ... 11.066
1/4 ... 13.306
MPH ... 100.46

Times looked like this all night... Times got worse and worse as I dropped pressure in the ET Streets. I think the et streets are bogging me a little, but this time was with like 20psi and it spun a little too which gave me best time all night. But because it spun i started dropping pressure...

I really dont know why i didnt gain ET and lost about 4mph

Were you running a 26" or 28" ET Street tire? The taller tire might make you loose a couple of MPH. I have run my ET Streets with 12lbs of air at the track (hooked really good) & 30lbs on the street....

Did you install the torque converter yet?

Actually this is in my 97 T/A so I have OBD2 so I don't have the high stall problem, but since I spray the car I'm using a very conservative 3:42 gear with my 3200 converter....

well i went from a 13.20 at 104 to a 13.40 at 100. our cars sound similar, i have as&m headers, corsa cat back, obd1 conversion, pcmforless tuning, 3.73's, vig 3200 and a built tranny

i ran the 13.20 on bfg drag radials and the 13.40 on et streets, same tire size. but i did have the shift problems and had to lift to shift. i read somewhere on the board that slightly overfilling the tranny fluid can help, i did that and got a new program from brian. the car does feel different now, i'm just waiting for my drag radials to come in (borrowed the et streets) and have to head out again.
