Vibes up by the footwell....

Just wondering what would cause a pulsing vibration up by the front of the console up into the footwells. Only thing I can think of is maybe torque converter or flywheel. Anyone? What do those 2 things do that would let you know if they are no good?

Edit: Also was thinking maybe the tranny mount going, but how can you tell? It broke once so I know what that feels like and this isn't it.

Well, haven't found it yet, gonna take the shroud off by the tranny and see if I can check out the ol' flywheel and converter...anything to look for on either of them? Old flywheel before tranny rebuild was fractured all the way around the bolt pattern! Don't know how to tell if a tranny mount is "partially" broken. Thoughts?

I am having a very similar problem on my 2001 SS. I got the TC installed less about 2 weeks ago.Everything was fine but there is this loud horrible rattle/vibration when in 2nd gear,1000 - 2000 rpm 25-30 mph.It gets louder and progressively faster as I slowly accelerate. It will slowly diminish then disappear as soon as I am out of that range stated above.I don`t know what the hell it is but it is starting to **** me off! My car is rarely driven and was fine before the install of the Yank SS 3200.Anyone know what it might be????
