Turbo350 trans?
Yes...Take it back out and put the right transmission back in it
Seriously, though. Yes, you have to take the 350 back out and have a conversion installed that replaces the output shaft. The kit is made by Fitz-All, and will run you right around $200. The transmission needs to be completely disassembled to change the shaft.
What are you mounting your torque arm to? How is your mount/crossmember set up? What driveshaft? What length TH350 are you using?
There are numerous threads from others who've done this uneccessary conversion from an A4 to the 350, although we still can't figure out why. You lose O/D, the car will 60 ft. worse, and it's not any stronger. The ONLY time a 350 makes any sense in a 3rd or 4th gen is if you want a transbrake.

I agree with 1st statement.lol I took this car in a trade on my 91 I had and for the life of me couldn't figure out why it was done either. Figure he spent cpl hundred on the converter it has,cpl more on the pistol grip shifter(I do kinda like that) the trans itself and a rear gear to help the trans out. More than enought to have hade the 4l60e rebuilt.
Was hoping it was an easier fix than that.lol

I wonder if you couldnt use a sensor off a 93 TA it uses the the gear type sensor but is electrical. did anyone over try that? it should fit in the TH350 hole for the speedo, I know its the same size as my TH400 hole for the sensor to fit into. when i was thinking about doing a TH350 that what I was going to try to do but I decided to go with the real deal 400.
I bought a vss translator from dakota digital for 50.00 that screws into the th-350 speedo on the output and replaces the mechanical signal for a signal the computer understands. much cheaper then your other options.
