Transmission HELP!!!!!

Hey Tranny GURUS. Just wondering. I have a 4L60E tranny in my LT1. I finally figured out why it was not shifting after the new motor. (low ATF) Now for some reason the clutches 1-2 are really bad. IN fact the gear races the engine up on the transition from 1st to 2nd, I wanted to know I plan on going with a Manual Valve Body. With shift Kit. IF I Get those parts installed will that eliminate my Transmissions slips. And how fast will the shifts be with a FULL MANUal Valve body?? Thanks

I'm not a tranny "guru", but I think you may have hurt your 1st + 2nd gear? Running with low/no ATF is not good. If you pull it apart to install a shift kit and/or manual valve body, be prepared to replace 1st & 2nd clutch packs, or whatever the parts are?

Loss of fluid will destroy the transmission, which in your case sounds like it did.
