LS1 Tranny Help Needed

I posted this in the tranny forum and I'm not getting any responses there so I thought I would see about here. I need to know if I use a 3200 stall and a tranny cooler of course, should I get a shift kit. Or can the shifts be firmed up with programing. Is a shift kit worth it or a wast of $$. Thanks guys!!

I have a 3200 stall in my trans without a shift kit and it seems to shift fine to me. However, if you want to firm up your shifts I would recommend a shift kit rather than using computer programing. Changing the shift firmness using programing mainly just increases line pressure which generally causes more heat. With shift kits it increases flow through the valvebody and decreases the shift time.
