it is my first post, so I guess I have to make a small presentation. I lived in Illinois then in Texas. Now I'm back in Europe between France, Germany and Austria.

I shipped my Camaro Z28 '93 to Europe when I left America.

I loose some transmission fluid from the cooler line.

I want to change it for a new one but I'm not able to find one on internet already assembled.

I contacted a GM dealer but they sell it in "parts".

In Europe, automatic transmission are not very popular.

Do you have any idea to buy one like the original one and assembled???

you can try to contact Year One.

 

...or you can just make up some braided lines to replace them...

 

My choice, especially since you are located outside the US. Buy a fitting for the cooler (IDK the size, I no longer use the stock cooler) and a fitting for the transmission, and then braided line to go between the two. You would be better served to go with an external cooler anyway, now sounds like the time to do it.

the diameter is around: 5/8" ?!

 

I run -6AN lines on a TH400 with fan-assisted outboard cooler, set up for 800HP/800lb-ft. -10AN would be overkill.

by the way, with your fan-assisted outboard cooler, do you still use the original cooler system in the radiator???


I can't find a kit with hoses and fittings and I 'm scared to make a mistake when I order the hoses and the fittings. (if I do it from different websites or companies)

Injuneer, your installation looks VERY nice ! Can you tell me where you found your parts (fittings, line and cooler?). I was on summit, jc whitney... I can't find something good. I found russel for the hoses.... I just need the fittings if you know a website


sorry to ask you that but GM had some problems last years and they don't supply Europe anymore in parts it could be better in the next years normally. but at this point it isn't easy to find American parts in Europe.... so I have to find them on internet
