transmission/converter question !!!

ok if someone can help me i would appreciate it. i did a quick search but couldnt find a definate answer. i am looking for a converter for the car. i have been reading on 93 camaro's and cant find the answer to this. do i need to a converter for a 4L60, 700R4, or 4L60E, i have heard different answers on this since the 93's seem to be different with just about everything??? i have been looking at summit and found one i like. it is a 2500 stall and says it fits 700R4 and 4L60 transmissions..will this work? this is going to be for a daily driver if that matters

Re: transmission/converter question !!!

That should work. The '93 used the non-electrically controlled version of the 4L60E, hence, the 4L60. AFAIK, 4L60 and 700-R4 are basically the same thing?
