Guys I just bought me a new camaro which is a 1996 3.8 liter V-6 engine with automatic transmission, yesterday when i was driving home the SES lite comes and and stays on, so i drive to auto zone and get my codes checked out........I have a misfire in cylinder #2 and for my tranmission I got this code ......P 1870 transmission controls......well after checking my chiltons manual there is no code with that number and only 2 of the codes refer to the transmission..........has anyone here had this hsppen to them with a camaro or firebird ????? and what did you do to fix the problem..

ok so what do i do now..........spend a $100.00 bucks for a trans flush and hope that works or someone tell me what they have done and how much did it cost to correct the problem so it never comes back
