Strange Engineering trans yoke / stock driveshaft u joint ??
I am going to be ordering a Strange Engineering trans yoke for my 4L60E. They sell two different ones; one for 1310 Spicer u joints, and one for 1350 Spicer joints. Does it really matter which one I get? What u joint will I need to adapt it to my GM aluminum LS1 driveshaft? Anybody know?
A "1350" is a heavy duty u-joint. A "1310" or "1320" is a weak "stocker". I don't know whether they used a 1310 or a 1320 on the LS1 aluminum. In any case, it makes sense to get the stronger tranny yoke, then get a "crossover" u-joint to mate the 1350 yoke to the 1310 or 1320 driveshaft.
