TransGo Problem

Yesterday, I installed the TransGo shift kit and vacuum modulator. The 1-2 shift is nice, but the 2-3 shift is slipping a lot. Under partial throttle, it doesn't seem to slip, but it may be slipping a little. Under mid-throttle, it takes a full 1000 rpm to complete the shift, and it just bangs the rev limiter fast at WOT. What are some reasons that this could happen?

dude , your problem is the transgo! those kit's kill your tarnny, get rid of it and hopefully if the damage isn't allready done your trans will be ok.

I have the best 4L60E builder in the country that built my Trans this came from his mouth.

Re: TransGo Problem

Give me a call, and I will try to help you out on this. 800 7763288 anytime past 10am PST. The Shift kit will not destroy the transnission, when installed correctly. I have been using them for almost 29 years in everything I build, and the Shift kits have never caused me problems, when installed right!
