TransGo full manual shift kit

Has anyone had any experience with the TransGo full manual shift kit? I plan on installing a TransGo in about 1000 miles when I have my tranny flushed.

I want to know about this too. I have been wanting to do the same thing. Do you know how the shift. Do you shift manual all the time? do you have to down shift? Also how do you get into reverse?

The Trans-Go can be a "forward pattern full manual" when it is setup as per instructions. Each gear wiil be as indicated. I personally do not like full manual setups for overdrives. The Trans-Go when setup correctly in the full automatic mode, works very well. If you are going to use the full manual setup, then make sure you use the vacuum modulator (from Trans-Go), as this will give immediate pressure (line) rise in anticipation of a gear change.

That thing may be a nice alternative to going the m6 route. I sure wish I knew more about it. For instance, I've been led to believe that manual downshifts are really hard on 3-4 over run clutches. Will this kit manage this problem? Does instaling this kit mean that I have to shift all gears manually from here on? Is there a shifter that can make it less likely that you over shoot and drop the car into nuetral?

So many questions.
