Trans go install need help

Alright i broke a clip in the tranny. One of those clips with the little tabs that keep the connection together. Anyone know if i can replace them individaully......it looks like the wires come out because they are loose.......but i don't know how and help would be aprretiated.

Let me guess.... one of the two solenoids that are side to side on the valve body. We did the same thing with my install. We used two very small tie wraps, if they ever break or slip off, the only way I can see is to replace the harness on the valve body. The tie wraps are working so far (keeping fingers crossed).

Yup that would be the one..........I sure hope i can just change the clip.......i just need to know how the wires come out....they are loose and all......i just am not familiar with that type of electrical clip.......some have those little things that push in the back to hold the wires in, this has a metal slot out the front where it is hooked

If you're paranoid you can use a tie wrap. I've put hundreds of them back together with broken clips with nothing holding them in....I haven't ever had one come back apart....

Thanks Frank, I really didn't feel like changing the harness . I'll just put her together and tie it up

They will charge probably 250-350 that is just my guess. they say 4 hours so at 60 bucks an hour that is 240 plus they add some extra. Or maybe you can find someone on here that will do it for less

I'd do it for 100 lol I am on day 4 of the install.........I only get to work on it for like an hour a day......i am way to busy.....half of the time is getting stuff around plus i am cleaning every little part
