Trans fluid shooting from trans dipstick

I had my oil changed today and when the tech opened the trans dipstick, fluid was shooting out pretty good. What could be the cause of this? Is it just too full?

Sounds like someone overfilled the crap out of it! Drain a quart out and let the car warm up and check the level again, repeat as necessary until fluid lever is where it's supposed to be.

My mechanic back home said there is a vent that is probably clogged.
