Trans dip stick FYI on a 4L60E

Just thought I would pass this bit of info along. Many of you on this list probably will laugh at this but I'm hoping it helps someone out there so they don't have to go through what I went through to get the auto trans dip stick tube inserted into the transmission. I found out that if you jack up the transmission a fair amount after bolting it up it is MUCH easier to get that stinkin' dip stick tube into the transmission. I struggled for nearly an hour trying to get that tube in the right position to slip it into the hole in the tranny. After I lifted the transmission up with the jack to above where the back end would rest on the crossmember it almost "fell" into the hole. What a relief!

Anyway, this was for a '94 Z28 with 4L60E.

Maybe this will help someone out.
