Tranny swap
Re: Tranny swap
hah, sorry, just was a little curious if you had retro-fitted like an LT1 or LS1 in your car.
when I swapped the trans in my 97 from auto to M6, I had to cut a whole in the floor for the shifter, and cut a hole for the master cylinder by the new pedal.
I'm not sure how speed sensors would hook up.
You'd have to make sure you have the correct bellhousing and input shaft I'm sure, along with a shifter, hydrollic clutch setup, pedal(s), clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate.
There should be someone here with some more info.

Keisler sells T56's that will work on the Gen 1 SBC engines. McLeod sells a modular bell-housing setup that allows virtually any engine to be coupled to the T56. They use the LS1 version of the T56, because it uses a conventional pusher clutch, and not the pullback design like the LT1 T56 uses.
