1)This post should be in the drivetrain forum....
2)PLEASE try to add some sort of puntcuation or form to your post so we can read it easier.
3)Give us info! What year car? Auto trans I assume?
4)Sound to me like the shop you are using does not know what they are doing. Many places can rebuild a trans to stock levels with no problems.

It sounds like the 3-4 clutches are wasted. As for these transmissions not being able to "take the power"?...I've got them out there in cars running 11.0 @ 124 MPH.

If you have an automatic, then your tranny does have 3-4 clutches and as others have said you probably fried the 3-4 clutches which is 3rd and 4th gear -I may be wrong. I would think performance parts brand name or not would be a good improvement over regular performing parts. Good luck.

This is both accurate and inaccurate at the same time...

Performance parts are almost always better, but just because you by something from a dealer that also sells performance items doesn't mean you are going to get the upgraded parts unless you specifically ask for them. And you just can’t buy some performance parts and expect the whole setup to work well together, it's like upgrading the cam to a large performance cam (like an LT1 w/ a cc306) and not touching the valve springs, it won't work well for long because it’s all about the right combination of parts…

OH just so you know, Art Car doesn't manufacture any of the clutches themselves; they use other manufacturers just like any other builder. The items you are buying from them could be bought anywhere, you are just paying more be cause the invoice says Art Carr…

*** EDIT ***
sir dyno - just so you know I was not directing this all to you, I just started with a quote of your last message to help prove my point, because you pretty much said the same thing.
