I'm trying to replace the stock hard lines with some braided lines to go from the tranny to the radiator to a tranny cooler and back to the tranny. Does anybody know what fittings I will need to make this work? Like what size are the fittings on the radiator and the transmission?

 

im looking to do the same thing and this info is much needed

 

Does anybody have a pic, of how these lines, are ran? Im not 100% sure, how to route them, from the trans to the radiator..

 

Top on the trans goes to the top on the radiator. Bottom on the trans goes to the bottom of the radiator.

 

at the radiator,fitting is a 5/16 tubing connection using an inverted flare tube nut. Inverted flare tube nut has a thread of 1/2-20. Camaro parts layout catalog shows this for LT1/LS1 93-02 models.



pic shows 2 pieces of 5/16" tubing with inverted flare fittings and 2 varieties of adaptor fittings to connect a 5/16 inverted flare port to 3/8" I.D. hose.

 

Thats a good idea, for the adapters..

Does anybody have a picture, of how those lines, are routed? Where they go, from the trans-radiator? I can't seem to find my Chiltons' book..
