trannsmission converstion question

will a lt1 6 spd bolt up to a big block 396 or 454 engine? will i need a special bell housing?

Yes a LT1 6spd unit will directly bolt up to any gen 1-2 sbc and BBC.

We have specific forums for specific topics.... a question about "transmission conversion" doesn't belong on "LT1/LT4 Engine Tech", and this isn't even about a tranny for an LT1 engine.

PLEASE post on the correct forum. Moving to "Drivetrain".
