Torque COnverter Question

I have a 99 Firehawk and I just took out a TCI Streetfighter 3,000 stall (i have the 4l60E). I am selling this and a buyer wants to know, "Hello. I'm looking for a better Torque Converter for my car. The only thing is, is that my car is a 96 with an LT1. 4L60 transmission installed in it. Just wondering if it's possible that this will fit my transmission?"
Can anyone give me a definite yes or no?

Re: Torque COnverter Question

Why will this not work? What kind of converter does he need? Thanks for your quick response.

Re: Torque COnverter Question

no, because thats what I heard over and over again when this very same question was asked in the past. I couldn't tell you why but I bet if you did a quick search you may find your answere.

Good luck selling the converter though, just don't sell it to guys with LT1's.

Re: Torque COnverter Question

The input shaft it slides onto is different. It's a different sized converter, and goes on a completely different engine.
