Question bleeding clutch master cylinder

>Is there an easy way to bleed the clutch master cylinder ?
I have the Helms , and Haynes manuals , but there seems like there should be an easier way ... wow am I getting lazy .

mine was easy because it was out of the car.
fill the resavor up with dot 3 break fluid
than have a friend or some one else push the quick disconnect with a screw driver and you pump the master but before you let the master cylinder rebound have the friend close the quick disconnect
do this untill all the bubbles are blead from the system
good way to tell is try to compress the cylinder with out the quick disconnect open and it should be as hard as a rock and not give at all

thats a correct way to do it on the LS1 cars, not on the LT1s.
I believe he has a LT1.

to bleed the lt1 all u have to do is unbolt the salve from the tranny and push in/out the slave rod. Do this till your hand gets tired


That should do it.

Im assuming you take the cap OFF the clutch master right when you're pushing the slave rod in and out?? (so you can see air bubbles come up?)
